Default Speed Bumps!

I go away for one week and now the road behind my flat has speed bumps. Its the ones where there are three little bumps in a row so you can get one little bump in-between the wheels if you know the width of your car but still! I thought speed bumps were being removed due to ambulences etc having problems?

I'm not a happy bunny right now.

There's loads of those around my way too (also South London), they're a pain but I've seen some much worse ones near my mates house in Tooting that have a flat top with sharp angles at either edge - nasty things!

I hate them, I actually grounded on one - in a car park a couple of weeks ago

I have the ones in 3's up my road - I think ambulances can actually go between them, like we almost can, cos their wheels are wider apart

It was quiet beforehand anyway! I suppose it is a seriously twisty hill, it does make me drool but its a residential area so you would have to be really stupid to play down it.

Hmm, on a similar note, anyone been to the newish PC World on Purley Way recently? Got in the carpark ok? They've got those pressure metal thingies and I swear it hit the S2K on the way in. When I got in there I had a little chat with the manager and apparently 'they are aware of the problem'. A TT owner has submitted a bill for damages which they promptly paid too (apparently). Now I have permission to go out the No Exit entrance though I can't see that standing up on an insurance claim.

The world's gone mad. We build perfectly nice flat surfaces on which to drive our lovely two wheel and four wheel machines...then put big effing bumps on them

Speed bumps are the devils spawn and should be relegated to the likes of football stadiums and children's playgrounds

To be fair that will probably be a landlord issue, and nothing to do with the store
