Default speeding

a few weeks/amonth ago i posted up saying i've been caught - urbanised area of nuneaton doing 37 in a 30, by a truvelo cam. fair cop, i dont agree with speeding in built up areas so i deserve to be spanked for this one...

i got through the paperwork and suprisingly i got offered the 1/2 day speed awareness thing.

now, im looking forward to this. instead of simply penalizing a motorist, they are educating them! i personally dont know of anyone who has been on this - have any of you?
whats your thoughts on the speed awareness gathering?

3points or speed awareness is still

Yup,been on one ,also caught in Nuneaton!
You get a lecture and some tea and biscuits at a centre in Ansley ,near the golf range. Saves points so must be a good thing.

i did one for being caught on my mobile - dont get me started i was at traffic lights... and was 'holding the phone '

basically its i found it quite fun - 30 odd people all in a small room and all loath the police for the ways they were caught... and many told them so !!
