Default Spending spree.....

Took the car upto a local independant today to have rear parking sensors and the sport shift kit fitted. Whilst it was there I had them do an oil and filter change as well.

The parking sensor kit I've had fitted looks much better than the stock porsche one which uses bloody great sensors. Given past history of hitting trees I figured it would be cheaper to fit one especially as it's pretty hard to work out how long the back of the car is.

The sport shift kit transforms the gearbox. My first thoughts on test driving the car were great car shite gearbox. Compared to the S2k the 911 box is rubbish. That is until you fit the "sports shifter kit" which Porsche will charge

That's good prices you got on the short shiter and the parking sensors though.

Compared the the S it feels like stirring porridge with a wooden spoon.
With the sports shift kit there is less throw than the S with a decent countersunk knob. Top mod

The indy is Sports and Classic Ltd in Mobberley.
Michael is the guy who runs it, he's ex-porsche and certainly know what he is doing.

The 911's shift is better than the Prelude's & the Boxster's.
