Spin out!
Just been reading about some one who had a spin out.
I had one recently but the car managed to stay on the tarmac. Must of done a good 360 and then ended up about a 2 foot into the soft. Luckly every thing seemed ok and nothing was damaged body work wise.
Is there any area of the car that may be damaged by this.
Thanks for any help

Might stuff your geo a bit but nowt else. Most S2k drivers have a spin at some point, usually in intermediate wet conditions, on poor roads and on tyres that are around 3mm.
Check your tread depth, tyre pressure and be careful .

I am on my 2nd S and the only spinning that I have done in 4 1/2 years has been on a track or airfield.
I am no demon driver, but since driving my first S I have always applied the rules that I read on this site nearly 5 years ago about driving in wet and adverse conditions.
Combine that with the 1st Lotus driving course that I attended and I feel quite confident now.
Having said that I have had one or two 'slips', but no spins. One under hard braking when I let the clutch out without balancing the car (backend moved), and the second when I applied the throttle slightly too early and slightly too hard come off a roundabout, backend moved out again, but corrected with slight oppposite lock and taking my foot off the gas.
