I'd go for option 2. I haven't fitted one but a friend has and reckons its better than the original hood. I've also heard great things about them in other posts on the forum...

i third that.. option 1/2 is my strategy as and when my almost 6 yr old roof gives up the ghost.

mytse fitted one recently and said it wasn't too difficult (there's a cracking thread with pics etc somewhere)

you need the frame with a glass roof or need to mod yours as it's different

The mod is some elastic straps and some rivets.

So basically its just time and effort, but not rocket science. Does it really need two people - or just every now and then, as if I do it, it'll be a one man job + help from the Mrs every now and then.

Obviously will take longer with just one person. But I don't see why not, just need your Mrs to help remove and place the roofs on.
