Default Spoon 4/7 Point Cage?

Just a quick question. Ive contacted Spoon Europe but no reply as yet.

Has anyone had the 4 point version?

Im looking for a cage that works with both the hardtop and the soft top, girlfriend wants to use it with the top down when we go around europe

The 7 point one i would go for personally but will likely be after the euro trip!

As for alternatives, im looking for a rollbar that is more substantial than the standard roll hoops, will allow me to run harnesses on both sides and still retain the soft top

There is a significant danger when using a multipoint cage without helmets.

I know, the car is primarily a track car anyway and i will be putting some padding around most of it too.

IM very tempted by the Mugen roll 'bar'

It looks tidy, especially as you can get factory cut trim panels. It shouldn't cause any 'no helmet' issues either being just a bar. However weither or not is is functional as safety device in a track car is open to debate-

IIRC biker has one of these on his car.

I remember seeing a thread over on the US site about a guy who rolled his S2k on a meet and slid over the edge of a drop. The half hoop basically saved him from death. Infact im sure the guy used to come from England and posted on this side as well.

I know the Spoon 7 doesnt fit as i tried it in my car but the full Cusco one does work with the standard hood. Changed my mind about fitting it in the end.

It's a bit of a minefield.

I need one which will allow use of a harness (will be using low seats and rails too)

Cusco/ Safety 21 seem the most popular choices that work.
