It's so new I felt compelled to get the brasso out. the guys in the garage accross the road who fitted it could not believe the quality of the thing.

Waitning for last night hangover to clear and then I'm going to take it for another run, see if it gives me another headache.

Silly question but where did you source the exhaust from and how much was it after shipping?

Nothing silly about that question IMO.

Welcome to my world

Mine came from king Motorsport in the US delivered in 3 days from payment

Ninebolts mine is quiter than the HKS, Invidia and Amuse even with the extra gas flow from the SC.
Do you get any 3-4k rpm drone?

Surprised its loud!

Mine is just a bit deeper than the OEM one - but the later one does look to have very big pipes on it.

Ooops Sorry.

Do you all remember the thread from MarkWNeale

Post Linky

Well that all happened about the time I was looking, Mark told me about the supplier about the same time he realized that he had the old style exhaust.

I shopped around and looked at King but the costs would have been nearer

I don't think I get the Drone. That was my primary reason for going the Mugen route. I've driven Usefuls S on the motorway and that has the HKS semi stainless and that is very Droney (is that a word) at about 3.5K.

My only problem is that I'm having to drive at low revs still only got 400 miles on the clock... at very low revs ie 2k it might be a bit boomy under load with the hood up but no drone at steady throttle.

There's a couple of simple answers to that though!

I put a K&N Gen2 on last week, that made things a lot raspier, I can't hear the intake now

Mikey, I do like your boot spoiler who's is it?
