Default Spring is definitely here!

6:30 am today, top down, new (restrained) hat on and off to work we go

Now I'm stuck in the office, wishing I was out driving the S top-down....

Yes it's glorious here too and getting warmer. I had the top down this morning. I'm just going to have a late breakfast and then I think it's spring clean time for the car. I'll think about you worker drones though!!

I woke early this morning, sun streaming into the bedroom - great feeling. Lept out of bed (very unusual for me!), fed the cats and the kids, cup of tea for me and the missus (still in bed - I'm too good to that woman!) Unwrapped the car (sleeping under its wonderful weathersheild cover) and I left the drive at 6:30 as well (Radio 5 news just begining as I started the engine)

Great drive to work - top down (off course), saw the usual selection of MG's, Boxters etc all with there roofs up - whats the fcuking point eh? and did the 24.8 mile (aprox) drive, door to door in 26 mins flat (this includes 4 or 5 miles thro' suburban sprawl and Croydon where I drive sensible and carefully! ) I pass under the M25 via a large, traffic light controlled roundabout - I was doing 52mph as I went under the motorway!! This is usually such a bottleneck on my way in each day - the joys of an early start and the school hol's.

Cant wait for the drive home tonight

Chris,

we should live closer, I also left home at 6.30 this morning with the roof down, the wifes car was still white with frost on the drive but I donned my new lined nike bobhat, pumped up the heater and off I went with my shades on. Lots of strange looks, mind you I do look like a bit of a gangster with my dark hat, shades and 3 days stubble.

Good news is its supposed to be like this until the weekend

Happy to say "me too" !!
Car couldn't have come at a better time - left home a bit early to do a quick "tour" of the local area and couldn't suppress a chuckle at the attention the car got.
Lovely sunny weather down here - didn't even need the heater !
Grinning stupidly again as I walked to the office - people really must thing I'm on wacky baccy or laughing gas these days !
