Default spring spacer

Well just giving the car a Spring Clean - wheels off sort of thing and just found a spring spacer in situ I am bl**dy furious.

Any suggestions on my course of action?

Have to say I am mad at myself also as I read about this type of thing in the FAQ

I still need to take the other front wheel off (but already had a look with a torch and I'm sure that one has been removed....)

Also wondering how I haven't noticed some form of imbalance?

Just felt the need to share !

Name and shame the Honda dealer who has done a substandard PDI. Also has it had it's first service yet?

Not a safe car to have, esp when only on one side. I'm going to go out and check mine properly now

the yellow one at the Honda Institute was taken back by Honda as it had a spacer present for several thousand miles. I think it was "PL"'s car. (Pink Lady?)

Sounds like you need a full allignment check if not more. As suggested contact Honda UK.

4000 miles

not had its first service yet, been weekend driver most of the winter.

If you look at my signature you will see I have owned two 2005 S2000 after the dealer fubared my first one!!!! That story will follow.

I had not thought about checking the allignment - not a happy honda owner at the mo....

Can someone PM me a Honda UK contact from your visit pl?

Peter

Get two new struts sorted at Honda's expense.

Did you really not feel them in?
