Default Spugen

I have just been on the www.teamspugen.com site. They have a stainless steel dual pipe with a ti tip for $650 plus shipping. this seems cheap to me when compared with an HKS which is made of mild steel. anyone have any views on this, particularly how much the shipping costs from the US.

Before I bought the Amuse, I did a lot of digging about exhausts.
from what I gathered the Invidia dual (stainless) is superb build & sounds fantastic. if I hadn't bought the Amuse I would have bought the Invidia @$650. enough said.

The Invidia has a reputation of being a bit loud. Spugens are good (and generally make a teeny bit of power...), but they also still suffer some boominess.

I reckon the best way to decide on an exhaust is to take a few passenger rides in UK cars with different exhaust on. HKS is failry common, there are a few Mugens, and a few Amuse Dual's, plus at least on Spoon. This gives you a basis for comparison - then comments on the US forums, comparing exhausts to any of these will give you a bit more idea before you take the plunge. Come to think of it, I'm sure Spugen have shipped a few exhausts to the UK, though I'm not sure anyone with one is active on the forums.

If you want to hear the Spugen exhausts, go to www.teamspugen.com and they have pictures as well as the sounds of the different exhausts.

If you want shipping info for the exhausts to the UK, PM Duc (AHHHVTEC) of Spugen and he will answer all your questions.

If any of you want a less expensive option, let me know. I have the dual stainless steel N1 style canisters, w/ Ti tips... exhaust was used for about 5 months.... exhaust is a full cat-back!

We can work out a price that is fair for both parties, just let me know.
