Mind you, that bonnet (not boot) catch is famous for squeaking yet the noise never seems to eminate from the front of the car. FWIW, I'd give it a squirt of the old 3 in 1 anyway ...

So, I was putting some shopping in the boot when I noticed the rubber adjusters. "Can't hurt to crank them up a bit" I think.
Viola, le squeak est gone.
Just glad I didn't ask Wandsworth Honda to diagnose it for me.

what rubber adjusters? (I've got a squeak too but it arose afte rI fitted the exhaust so I;m assuming its the cause, although I've been under the car to lube the hangers and retension the Cat/exhaust bolts)
