if a repair is done well and you plan to keep it for a while (as resale is effected) i think its not a bad idea. If i had the cash the type r in the sale section would be mine!!!!


Whats the age and mileage on that?

there is a poor 01 with 20 odd K on the clock on http://www.qualitysalvage.net/ , its not only recently lost a fight with something hard but had a new engine 10 k miles ago. That one is up for almost

I am not so sure, that looks proper bent, look under the bonnet It will never drive the same again, probably wouldn't bother even for 9k.

It normally takes a *lot* of damage to have a car of this sort of value written off.

Don't insurance companies say that if the repair bill is over 2/3 the value it is a write off?
