Yep go for the course before the car, especially if you're not used to horsepower and RWD. Did the carlimits course last week. Andy Walsh is a god! I've now got a much better idea of what the car and the driver will and won't do! More importantly it was

Thanks for the input guys, but doesn't really answer my question and you automatically assume that I have no training or prior experince of power or RWD.
I would agree to do training before mods, and that's why, over the years I have done quite a bit of driver training in various formats and am now competing in motorsport. I know there is always more to learn but to be honest I feel happy handling the S2000.

I tried to cover both options, even people used to high power and RWD have a learning curve for the S2000, it is a little different on the limit.
But give us a clue on allowable noise, amount of hassle you are willing to go through for MOT (ie deCAT etc ??),

Intake, exhaust manifold, decat and some sort of aftermarket ECU will do that. Many ECU's out there like Mugen / Spoon / J's racing. I went for a Unichip remap and thats given some great lower down gains.
