Hay all
I started my search today for a S
Starting making offers - my god dealers are full of it when you talk to them.
Can a hardtop be fitted to a not GT car?
Ay idea on if a good colour match can be made and how much it costs?
I'm looking at 2003 so I get the tweeters and slightly more room.
First purchases would be:
BYS rails for the drivers side
Heated seat mats (any recommendations would be great)
Autoleads or modifry convertor thing.
Where is a good place to install the pioneer Bluetooth head unit mic?
Cheers all
Excited yet staying calm

Yes, but you may need a fitting kit, which is ~£350 second hand.
Yes, ~ £300...a conservative estimate.
Have a search for heated seats...plenty of threads.
Not sure about the mic, or how useful it will be in a soft top

Hi there
Un believable as it sounds the pioneer Bluetooth is great, I have it in my MR2 and the SLK before that.
I'm hoping that the BYS rails are avail in the UK locally I'm sure I found a site the other day.
Heated seats are a must as cold leather is not nice

Sean, rather than heated seats get the stereo and speakers sorted unless you get one in the next few weeks. It will be spring soon and the kit will be much nicer to fit when it's warm outside. The guys tend to go for the waeco kit. The Mic is probably best placed next to the interior light.
Do you have any preference on colour or ones to avoid?

I'd avoid the Autoleads convertor - too many people have had problems with them. The celsus converter that caraudiodirect sells is reportedly much more reliable. http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/ict-...l-adaptor.html

Hi well I already have my head unit so speakers will be first, I'm sure there will be some reading and a thread on which ones to buy. Good idea on the heated seats I can do them in the summer while its nice out.
I have been looking at all colours but I think I'm a fan of the dark blue with a hardtop.
I have seen a few around but it's just comparing them all and getting a good price.
I like red also but there are not any online that I can see at the mo.
