Starting to age.
Don't use it much but when I do it makes me smile
To replace it with something better (what is better? faster, more street cred, more neighbour jealousy?) would mean spending 25-30k on top of the trade in for me and most of the options would be cruisers, not raw fun.
This discussion comes down to fashion and snobbery.
Are you a fashion victim?

Personally I don't think the S is looking dated, nor have any of the revisions done anything to harm it's looks. But any cosmetic change will always be down to personal taste at the end of the day.
I did fear the price drop would release a flood of chav's into the owners circle but the high insurance is keeping them at bay
Even if they did start buying the S and bolting on the eBay tat, it would simply mean the original untouched cars would still be sought after by any serious owners.
I still love the way my car handles and drives, and when I've got the roof down on a sunny morning it's the best car in the World (obviously it isn't but you know what I mean
).
I'll be keeping mine.

I'm not sure how much the S appeals to the ebay chav,
There's many reasons why not;
The soft top will cause the burbery baseball cap to be blown off.
The lack of back seats means you can't put Shazza and Trace in the back and Homeboy Jazzy K in the front to go to Maccy Ds.
There's not a parcel shelf for fitting an eighteen inch bass speaker.
There's not space to put in a double din stereo with DVD screen.
Halfords ripspeed wheels won't fit.
The car is too low to reach the speakers at Maccy Ds drivethrough.
There's no easily available custom light pods for front or rear.
The plastic of the rear bumper is too tough to be easily cut away with a Stanley knife to fit a fat boy exhaust.
It's pointless to black out the windows if you have the hood down.

judging by a lot of comments on this thread the general impression is, unless you drive a totally standard or facelifted s2000, your either a chav or driving a car thats past its prime.
I enjoyed all the quips when I had a huge wing 'table' bolted on the rear.
But only an Evo6 passed me all day on the track

Fark 'em.
Im even chavving up the Bimmer.

I'm with J8mie ... best car in the world with the top down on a early Sunday sunny morning.
