Lloyd, you da man !

Maximum respect as that is definately MPH as well and all under 8000 rpm's !!!!

Wonder what it would be at the rev limiter ?

I would check your oil if I were you mate last time I knocked 155 out which was in my old chipped Seat Leon Cupra R, the oil warning light came on shortly afterwards and it was dry as a bone

Without Hardtop! Very early in the morning on a long clear road.

Very stable at high speed!

Engine is standard with no Mods!

Have heard claims of 165MPH on the clock, don't know what actual speed would be?

I am sure I heard 168 mph mentioned by one of the Septics on the US board as the fastest they had been.

I take it this was very early in the morning on a private lane then Lloyd. Like I said, check your oil matie this sort of thing drinks it.

S2000 is just over 18mph per 1000 Rpm with newish tyres.

at 8000 rpm that puts it around 145mph?

Lloyd, I thought your motor had done more miles than that?

Seen 162 meself (MCB of course, much faster)

Car now has 20K on the clock & a big dent in the door! Pic of MPH taken 2003.

Obviously it was a private road where picture was taken!

I know using a mobile phone in a car is illegal, Never said i was holding the phone!
