Mine will be going in for its 27k service (ALREADY!! ) sometime soon. Should i get my stonechips done by Crown Honda or some other local specialist? I might also get the warts painted at the same time.

Any experience/advice much appreciated.

I guess it will boil down to cost at the end of the day - there are loads of specialist companies that you can expect to charge you circ.

 

Norton Way Honda did a really good respray of mike's (UK_S2000) car (ex Graybloke). I think that they did bonnet & driver's wing. I saw the car before & after, and the after looked very shiny indeed. Personally, I'd stick with a good, known Honda garage. Probably cost 30-40% more, but more likely to 'be accountable' for any cock-ups.

One of the best people around our neck of the woods is S.E.Ison and Sons at Ebberns Road, Apsley. Simmo and I have always take our vehicles there and IIRC, LB had her warts done there.

G see Claire if you are in your office today, she may have the number handy.

On the subject of stonechips - i hadn't come across loose chippings for years, I buy an S and suddenly every road I go down there's some b*stard spraying loose chippings and hot tar at me.
