Default Storing a tin top...

Can any one point me in the right direction.... I've had the toy for 2 weeks now and I haven't had a chance to have a proper blast with the roof down!

I know, tut tut.... shame on me!

Problem is that I didn't get the tin top stand when I bought the car, so I need to find out a way to store it safely for a couple of weeks until I get the proper stand - any help, comments or pointers would be useful.

Thanks a million in advance!

lay it on a spare bed?

i would have thought if it was layed flat it wouldn't cause any problems for a short period of time.

check on ebay if any stands are up for sale or put a request in for one on th efor sale forum, i did that for a hard top and got the whole lot.

Make a stand from plastic waste pipe. Cheap and strong!

if it's temporary just a few blanketds/towels laid out should be ok to sit it on in the garage/house.

You can stand it against a wall, front first (so the glass is at the top). I did this with mine for a few months without any problems. Just make sure it's on something soft like a carpet.

You could always buy the Honda Hardtop stand and cover that I've got in my garage

My S2000 GT went back to the lease company last friday and they weren't even vaguely interested in picking up the stand....... so if nobody calls me in the next two weeks I will consider it available to sell!.

I will accept offers well below the Honda list price which somebody told me is

Thanks a million for the suggestions - looks like it will be in the shed for a bit, garages are a rare item in London!!!

Wadswoaj give me a shout if they don't ask for it back, I'll have the cash waiting!
