supercharger
i fancy the thought of a supercharger on my"S" mine is low on miles so wear is prob no issue. but who can tell me all about it, where to get it, how much etc etc etc. what about resale values once ive finished playing.
The cost is huge and it's quite hard to do. As Steven has said quite a few people in the US have gone down this route so read on there. Resale values would I imagine be poor as you will have a very limited market and won't recoup any of the money you spend

If you are looking at sc maybe you could consider a turbo, Andy has gone that route and I think is pleased with the results. There is plenty to read on the US forum about both of these. I'd really like a turbo but couldn't warrant the money it costs for the power increases

I would not go either ways. You have to understand that one mod brings another. You have to consider that if you put a supercharger or turbo you should get an ACT to withstand the extra power. And especially with a turbo you have no idea what it takes to get the perfect tuning.
I would not mess with the engine at all for many reasons and one of them is that if you install a supercharger/turbo or nitro, the whole philosophy of the S2000 changes. If you want to do a mod to your engine I would go ONLY with Mugen. Another reason is that the S2000 is already fast and dangerous if you dont know its limits. Am not saying the car is dangerous regarding safety. Every car is dangerous if the driver doesnt know his limits and car's limits.
Believe me I have done the same thinking regarding a Supercharger fitting and went through all the topics, and even the most satisfied users of Comptech, Vortech etc etc mention that you should cool down your engine and not go always V-TEC since the temperatures are increasing. Personally I cannot tell or feel 100% when I should cool down the engine. I would prefer having my S2000 with no mods always on V-TEC and been sure that nothing could go wrong, rather always concern if my supercharged S will have a possible failure..
Thats me thinking again loud.
