If i cant get a base map from anyone, is there any other safe way of me getting to a tuner after fitting the charger that doesnt include towing?
Im not sure the best way to go about this. Any advise would be helpful.

A few different things are going through my mind listed below in no particular order:

1. Have you contacted AJ - S2konroids to see if he can help?
2. How far is it from where your car is to your tuner?
3. I've read on the F/I forum many times about people driving their cars to their tuners without the s/c belt fitted providing that you can get a base map.
4. Have you asked your tuner if he can help or contact other tuners such as DMS, TDI North, etc to see if they can provide a base map for a small fee?
5. Obviously if you do get a base map then you can drive your car gently with s/c belt fitted etc to your tuner.

Apologies if I have stated the obvious, just offering some thoughts

Any info is good help for me.
I am currently in contact with aj after yours and another member suggested, i dint currently have anyone set on doing the tune, and ive also read about people taking off the belts etc, but i just dont know whats safe and whats not. I wasnt sure if i needed a base map even with the belt disconnected.
Thanks for a response though.
