Default Swapping Tyres over

I've never rotated tyres around on a car before, or swapped them over (never cought them in time!)

However, my insides are starting to wear a bit now, and I was thinking about getting the tyres swapped over.

I presume you cannot just swap the wheels as the tyres (Eagle F1 GSD3's in my case) are directional.

So my question is, how much should I be looking to pay to go to a tyre place and for them to swap the fronts, and swap the rears?

And - should I even be getting this done or not?

Swap the front and back tyres, that would make for some interesting handling.
Sorry I cant help on the price buy I would tyre Protyre in Enfield on the A10 (just after the beefeater, halfway house) I called R-tec in Hatfield, and they advised me to tyre there for my balancing and tracking. I know they are good and reasonably priced.

I asked at my local place and they said not to swap the fronts round cos of the way they'd already worn, it would make it worse. Probably talking poop as they change mine for free (friend) and didn't fancy bothering

It always pays to keep well in with the local tyre monkeys Costs me a tenner and they take special care not to damage the wheels. Don't know how I've managed this, because I've never bought tyres for the S from them!!

Go in at a quiet time and (if you can) leave the wheels (or car if they're attached!) there. Normally somebody will do them for beer money.
