Did the Duke of Edinburgh make any gaffes while speaking to you?
His last was to ask a Tamil priest if he had any links with the Tamil Tigers, during a visit to a Hindu temple with the Queen on her Golden Jubilee tour.
He's a funny guy
other gaffes

His only gaffe was the Suit - it even made me look well dressed.
He was only there for 10 minutes and I was so wrapped up in making sure that he was introduced to the great & good (those who paid for the project) that I didn't hear all that he said. He did do a walkabout to the spectators and asked 'and what do you usually do when you're not here?'

I'll get my coat, shall I........?
(P.S. I wouldn't ordinarily be caught dead describing our beloved vehicle as a S***k
but on this occasion I couldn't resist it.)

Saw them in the flesh on Weds - was up in town on a corporate jolly and they were v v impressive. A little bit flooded when we saw them though - but the yanks loved then, and so did we (all of us property developer scum !). Then went punting in the rain (went up to Grantchester) before having a curry in Mill Lane.
Looking forward to seeing the city in the dry next time !!
I'm very impressed !
