Default TCT :(

I have the tct rattle!

Does anyone have access to sandblasting that would be kind enough to do it for me? For some sort if reward if course

If not where are people buying a tct from these days?

It's not imperative that you get it sand blasted, as long as you "rough up" the contact face of the worm gear it's not crucial how you do it. A lot of people have used emery cloth/sandpaper to achieve the same result, sandblasting is just a bit quicker.

If you're happy to tackle it yourself, i'd get it to bits in the shed and get the sandpaper out! Just be sure to rinse it through with some petrol or something prior to re-assembling

That's an alternative solution if you can't have access to sandblasting

It's one of those jobs that sounds a lot worse than it actually is!

Cheers guys I also thought it will be very helpful as a cheap solution. Of course if somebody wants a permanent solution I would go for the inline pro TCT. I used to change TCT's every 2000 miles when I became FI. I installed the inline pro tct and never looked back
