Who cares about MPG?

Drive it because it puts a smile on your face every time you get in to your S and fill it up when it's empty, simple
I'm happy for you , but this is a project as i keep re-iterating.

AJ, if you had an AFR gauge, you'd know how far off 14.7 is ..

If you are doing a fixed AFR, you may as well just work out you get 30mpg average, you do 45mph average and set a stop watch.

You know the injectors are 360cc's, and you can work out the injector open time and frequency (revs). You must be able to work out how much fuel is going in at any point?
Correct Ben, tt assumes a perfect stoichiometric combustion of petrol, plus the formulae is a little bit wrong doh!

Could use the injector pulse. As you say the ratio differs at WOT etc. so therefore i could use the long term fuel trim to find out and be more accurate, thus compesating differing AFR's values.

BUT the fuel trim helps it reach its target AFR thus the above may not be any good, its not an indication of a different AFR

Will have to think about it or just buy a scanguage haha.

I'm getting brain drain now

p.s wish i could read other faults like ABS ones etc, but not possible without other hardware i presume.

On a side note fixed my car (ABS fault) think i have stretched my shoulder ligament too which really hurts serves me right as my cousin was as much use as a chocolate fireguard, think i damaged the N/O abs sensor when doing my bushes.

Effin' ell chap! I've just got in after spending the afternoon reviewing and writing a report on over 100 pages of proposed contact amendments to the 2005 JCT standard form of design and build contract, and I thought I would relax and catch up on what's new on the forum. I'm going down the pub

Just got back from the pub, someone wanted some advice about their kids maths homework

Great day for a run out, weather's been superb. Did you get any ideas for potential routes on the 25th?
