Never been anywhere near that, but I thought on paper they are only meant to do 136 aren't they ?

is there a 145mph limiter ? Yes It's called 95RON, it will get there............eventually in a week or two, with a long enough road, and a following wind, French petrol is meard.

Hardtop must cost you about 30bhp, and at least 20mph of top speed.

I had 138mph, roof down, legally at the Nürburgring, and it was still accelerating (nowhere long enough to reach top speed). Though interestingly that was on 16s; on 17s I could never quite get there.

Everywhere I've bought petrol in France has had 98RON.

137 roofdown, 140 roof up redlining in 5th, still pulling, but ran out of road, and fear of losing my licence!

Indicated 146 leptons, roof down on a 25 degrees C hot day, flanked by a bikini clad missus (now the wife). And there was more to go This was using the good ol' 99 RON Optimax
W reg, '00 model on 16's. At the time, the car was nearly 4 years old, about 50k miles on the clock.
