Pootling up the a1 to a meeting and I noticed a faint rattle develop on 10% throttle.

Pulled off half a mile later, coasted to a halt, silence. Pulled away at the roundabout at the bottom of the slip road and its not a rattle its a fully fledged knock.

Only happens with any throttle, so I'm going to cling to the hope that it might just be the exhaust knocking on the subframe but it sounds more "foreword" than that...

I've priced up the value of breaking it while I wait for a friend with a tow rope...

Indeed; could be a lot of other loose shi' due to that nasty harmonic on the front of the F20c too.
