I'm looking at getting a set of 17" for my '99 S. Just to make sure, are these the correct sizes I should be looking for?

Front:
17" x 7.0", +55 offset, 215 tyre

Rear:
17" x 8.5", +65 offset, 245 tyre

I got the sizes from the FAQs but just like to be reassured.

I've been looking on the web lots & have seen some nice looking ones which are Black with chrome/stainless rims, unfortunately they don't seem to do them in the sizes I want.

Wolfrace Shark

So I'm looking for something similar to this (but not limited to).

7" and 8.5" don't sound right to me, I'm sure it's 7.5" and 8.5" check the stud pattern too, 5 x 114

I truly, hate the look of those wheels to each their own though

To be honest you'd get decent tyres for that price.

T1 Rs really have a very soft tyre wall, you'd be far better off with bridgies.
I must admit, the GSD3s are the better tyre on the S (and everything else i've had) than the toyo.

I have pumped them up to 34psi (Thanks to Allan for his tyre gauge ) and they are MUCH better. GSD3s still rule the wet.

Once these go, i'll be moving to the new Eagle Asymetric.

If I had money to burn, i'd love to try the Pilot Sports.

Julian (Rarerims) will do you wheels only too
