Has to be a moderator and usually because there was an issue with the thread (abusive, spam, etc.).

Can't see any problems with your "S2000 virgin" thread though so I am as equally confused as to why it has been closed!

Moderators??

For that you'd need to ask a moderator. Try PM (personal mail) to one of the moderators noted at the top of the forum page.

Remember (if you don't like the response) - they're just regular, experienced, board members who've agreed to do some work voluntarily. They deserve our support.

They're are some S2000 rules somewhere, but after 15 months, I still haven't read them

OK this is REALLY weird

I just took a look at the closed thread data (using my magic CO/Mod powers) and I find this comment

"Thread closed by san2000 on 03-18-03 01:58PM"

So either sanS2000 has been given moderator/CO status in error, or there was a major system cock up!

sanS2000 you have a PM

Pete

Pete, just tried it on a thread I started and it is possible to lock it! Use the Admin Options drop down at the bottom of the page, if you don't have permission to do an action it tells you but it seems we all have permission to close our own threads. Useful!

Sorry San, you are new to the site, I shouldn't laugh! Well done though, I am sure a few of us have learnt something new there.

BTW, you can also "open" your thread using the same method. You might want to do this if you want any more help/suggestions on that thread.
