What, out of a set of RE050 MZs? I used to get 8-9k miles out of a set of rear s02's but got 14k miles out of the MZs on my new car which included 4 trackdays.

and i slide the car quite a lot on trackdays!

About 10-12k was fine on S02s, dunno about these new RE050As.
Most of my mileage is either motorway or 60mph country lanes. A couple of track days per year, tops.
I'm a slow driver, as people who've been to the Nurburgring with me will attest.

RE050's seem really good.

Got 9.5k from my set of rears but that was quite hard summer driving, now on 10k from the rears with about 3.5 mm to go.

Got 18k from the fronts.

Yup! I swapped them in April, then again in December (rears). They had 3mm left. Did one airfield day, but that was on the day Gloucester flooded! So it wasn't too hard on them.

I currently have S02s on mine. Are they out of production? What's the replacement. I have 16" rims.

My S2K has done 21K and is now on it's 2nd set of tyres. The rears were changed at 15K with S02 replacements and the fronts just done at 21K.Fronts were not totally worn but had deteriorated due to age.Fronts have just been fitted with RE050 due to S02 not available.
