the s will shortly be leaving the fold - and replaced with a 993 C4 which is going to break my balls and my bank balance running it!! Can't wait to pick it up though, proper old school inside

17 year old Porsches require much more care than younger ones, it will break your bank if youre unlucky with consumables beeaking down... but respect to your choice. Brave and a dream fulfilled :-)

yer i am budgeting £2k a year just to maintain it, excluding taxing, insuring etc. The offset is basically zero depreciation. I was going to get a 997 but to be honest I do 3000 miles a year so i'll just lose money on that sitting around. This one has done 72k so is quite low miles relatively and i know the history of the car for the last 8 years as it was my old man's car!!
