Default Titanium Dash Kits

I happened to be browsing the forums and came across the IPT dashkit company (US) that makes titanium and carbon fibre dashkits for the s2k. Has anyone heard of them / got one their kits????

Given that my gearstick surround is scratched, and knowing how good the titanium looks (a la Tif's car) I quite fancy going for one of these (although I know Tif has the JDM parts so the quality may vary) rather than replace the centre console.

....I'm not sure if they do individual bits.

What I was wondering is if anyone else was interested? If so I will try to negotiate a group purchase.

Here is a link to a picture of some of the bits and the website (the radio cover is a custom job, they can't do designs)

http://store3.yimg.com/I/ipt-dashkits_1707_17896977 http://www.iptdashkits.com/s2titkit.html

The cost of the kit is $320. Doesn't seem too bad to me for what you get.

Cheers

Dom

Dom - I was just looking at that site as well, and definitely fancy the kit if they can make it for RHD - I also e-mailed them yesterday

I had an email conversation with them today. They confirmed that they will do RHD versions for the same price but as they are custom made, they will take a bit more time.

I haven't got round to discussing the possibility of a group buy with them yet, was going to wait for a day or two to see if there were any more takers.

I fancy a carbon fibre trim kit for mine, I saw one a while ago which I liked but did'nt find out who made it as it's not like the IPT kits cause the center console was one piece instead of lots of small bits which fit onto the OEM part, but if they do custom ones then they maybe be able to do one for me!!!

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder....but to me, that looks rank......bloody horrid.
And see your resell value plumet when the new potential owner thinks the same.

I do know what you mean, that radio door cover is a bit of a shocker (which I wouldn't put on), and I don't think that the picture is particularly good.

But I do like the air vents, the door electrics surrounds and the gear stick surround will cover my scratched oem one.

I also think that they will look particularly good with a black interior (which I have).

Anyway your comments have been noted and I will ask for some more photos.
