Default Tonneau/boot cover experiences??

Hi guys, with the recent blessing of fine weather up here I dug the Tonneau cover out of storage and fitted it on the car last night. I reckon the S looks a lot better with it on and I felt it cut some turbulence in the cockpit driving in today.

It didn't go on too bad to say its been in its orginal packaging from new, about 3 minutes of faffing about but I'll do it quicker later on

Oh yeah, I caught a glimpse of the S in the shop windows of Deansgate as I cruised into work - damn but we are lucky to have these great looking cars!!!

A bit mixed on the cover here. I agree that the car looks better with it. I fitted it when parked at Rockingham last year. However, when I went back to the car (threatening looking sky), it didn't want to come off. Much swearing ensued....

However, I used the cover a few days ago - sunny weather, so I put the roof down and cover on while cleaning the car. No problems. I think putting the cover on the car for a while has helped 'train' it to the right shape.

I'm hoping to use the cover tomorrow at Elvington. (Weather permitting.). If I had problems... I'll be sure to pop to the forums to have a winge!

In anticipation of a 'top down all-day day' on Sunday, I got mine out of its bag fro the 1st time last night - it does look a bit of a faff, but I think it will go on for the 1st time on at the weekend.

Apparently it gets easier to put on/take off with use. Not sure I can be bothered to use it that frequently tho. I think the Boxster scores a point over the S in this respect

I always try and put the tonneau cover on as it gives the car a finished look. I have found that it gets easier, and there is a definate knack to it, getting it off is harder, but I have managed to find a way to do it without too much hassle...

It actually came off OK this morning, the clips that hold it on seem pretty well engineered

Colly, if you haven't got the cover (it fits over the softtop when folded) get on the phone to the guys who sourced your car ASAP! I've heard that a new one will set you back c.

Aaaahhhhh. That cover Stoopid head on this morning

I thought you meant a tonneau that covers the dash, passenger side and finishes around the driver etc, just like in the olden days.
I've never used the roof cover, just sits in a corner gathering dust.
