Touch Up
I have quite a few stone chips and a few other bits which I would like to use some touch up paint to treat.
I have NEVER done this before.
Do you think its worth trying myself (cos its easy) or do you think its worth paying someone professionally to do this??
If the latter know any good garages in SW London?
Cheers.

I sorted a stone chip on my bumper recently and it wasn't much of a problem although the repair isn't perfect.
I've got small stone chips all over my bonnet as well but I wont go near these. Too noticeable if I screw it up.
I also live in SW london and would like some advice on touching up my new formula red s - Hellfrauds offer a service for about 50 quid - any experience?
My gut feel is that if you have a few chips, it will take me a couple of hours to do an ok job so I woul dbe happy to pay 50 quid if I new the results would be good.
Anyone know of any good mobile touch-up man (that sounds dark sorry)

Might as well use a club hammer as Chips Away!
You clean out teh chip & build up the paint using layer upon layer of the Honda touch-up stick, 'til it's proud.
Then you flat that off with a hole-punched disc of 1500 0r 2000 W&D superglued onto a pencil eraser.
Then you cleaner polish & wax the paint.
It doesn't need to be perfect to look OK, and you'll only get more anyway.
