Default Tow hitch / bar?

Before I have to order one from the US is there anywhere in the UK that supplies a towbar for an S2000?

Don't worry, it is just for mountain bikes/snowboards, I don't plan to stick a trailer on and try to drag the race car around

No.

I got mine from the US (AFAIK I am the only person with one in the UK)

You may need to change the ball on the end though, although I get away with mine

I do use a trailer, tyre trailer. I CBA now, but you could search and find my posts about it

Thanks I did find your posts when I searched earlier, was just ever optimistic someone may have got one locally - I take badly to paying VAT on import duty and shipping so try to avoid it whenever possible.

Looking at the pictures it wouldn't be hard to make one, but don't have the free time at present, so I'll see how expensive shipping is going to be.

Ian, I always meant to ask you, do you have problems with ground clearance with yours ie if you have to go up a steep ramp?

None whatsoever

I think the Cat sits lower than the tow bar

Yankee tow balls are 2 inch and UK/Eurpean 50mm, don't know if Uk/European spec hitchs will fit the 2 inch ball , but if you have a Yankee hitch and a 50mm ball you can loose the trailer. My mate had a Yankee ski boat and trailer, he had to get a 2 inch ball or risk the boat and trailer

Its approx 0.8mm differant
