Default Traction Control

I have read what there is to read on the forum and remember there was the group buy last year for the racelogic traction control.

I would like to ask some users whether its a good investment for the car's handling. I have no issues with the handling, mine is pretty standard but well planted and I dont use it in the rain to be honest as its not my everyday driver. However i would like to know if it will give me higher cornering ability in the dry.

Moreover is it easy to install. And thirdly is this the unit to buy:
RLTC6AL Adjustable Traction Control (6 Cyl) + Launch Control ABS

Shawn, in all honesty since you live in the same country as me, i think its a waste of money anyway due to the 'polished' state of the asphalt in Malta. On our roads its fairly easy to handle the car. I have an 08 spec car with VSA as standard, but its always switched off.

Our roads are very bad so driving with the racelogic TC i believe I can technically push the car to its limits more than without it.

Vince do you find that between it on or off there is no difference? With the state of our tarmac i think that the car would benefit from the TC. Had our roads been to a better standard I would mabe justify the use of the TC less

Do as I did mate, i have a Westfield Megabusa too, I went to a big carpark (Luxol) on morning and played a bit with the car. I feel more in control with the TC off rather than on. I know of an Audi TT that the TC failed. Dont need to tell you the end of the story....

No, you wont get higher cornering ability in the dry. Thats more driver skill based. What it will do is take away the risk of going off the road while you build up your skill.
