Default Trickle Charger

I am planning to use the S2000 at weekends only once it get's too dark to drive to and from work roof off and want to get a trickle charger to keep the battery charged

I have read somewhere you can get ones that plug into the 12 volt aux socket. Anyone know where you can get hold of these?

Haven't got one - but this might be what you are looking for - dunno about the 12v socket though - the lotus guy's answer looks relevant

Hmmm... That would be interesting to see. Solve a few of the world's power problems if you find one.....

Are you sure someone isn't winding you up?? Unless of course it's from another car's cigarette lighter socket....

Best option if you're going to leave the car for any length of time, is to disconnect the battery (oh, and leave the handbrake off). Okay, so disconnecting the battery may affect some alarm/immobilisors, but for most they just reset once the battery is reconnected.

Plugs into cig lighter - how much sunshine in yr garage?

Have doubts about our aux socket since it won't IIUC support a cig lighter - but know SFA about electrics

Hi try this link it might be useful. I stored it after I also had a date with the AA man after the car had been in the garage for 3 weeks while I'd been away. Haven't bought one myself yet as I've not had a re occurance.
