Default Tyre Knackered

Just went for a spin . Driving along the motorway I managed to run over something. I couldn't avoid it , not sure what it was but I knew it would have damaged my front tyre. The side wall of my tyre has burst slightly. I reckon I will need a new one? What do you think. I will have to buy 2 as I wont be happy with one new and one scrubbed tyre at the front . Already spent 1700 quid this month on my car

Seems hand in pocket again then for a new tyre, shame really, is there much tread left on the other side tyre?

A new set of fronts for sure mate

I wouldn't want to drive my car (esp the way I drive the S) with a tyre like that.

There's loads of tread on both sides. I was just saying to my mate how good these tyres are 10 mins before I knackered one , done 24000 miles on them so far. Looks like I will be getting two new ones then

Yeah, get that changed ASAP. Had a bulge almost exactly the same in my old focus and I shat myself every time I drove it before I could get it replaced...

Never never never take a chance with tyres or brakes.

That tyre is damaged - it needs to be a) replaced and the damaged tyre destroyed.

I'd go for two new fronts, if it blows at speed it could cost you a hell of a lot more....
