Does anyone know what the pressure should be on the '04 17" RE050's?

Cheers,

Chris.

I used to check my tyres all the time, that was when the air hose at the petrol station 1/2mile away was working. So I let it slip and found my tyres down to about 28psi. The difference is amazing if not now a little jarring!

Petrol stations now seem to have those silly air pump, where you set the pressure you want and it stops when it thinks it gets there. Maybe something to do with less risk of exposure to lawsuits. But they are way off when I check with my digi guage.

used one of these "preset pumps" the other day and set it to 32psi obviously. Just checked tyres with my digi gauge, they are all still at 30psi

Going to find a normal pump and finally try and get tyres to the correct pressure.

I usually check my tyres every week and find that the digital pump at Esso stations is accurate to 0.5 psi - I awlays check using my digital guage.
