Default Tyre Purchase

Just bought OEM 17" wheels and was thinking of getting the Toyo proxies like i have on my car at the moment(though 16").

If i got it correctly:
215/45/17 fronts
245/40/17 rears

Found this company:
http://www.ctyres.co.uk/

Are there better ones around or any better mail order/ wholesale companies i can get from? Am located in Cambridge area.

Many thanks guys.

I have some nearly new falkens in the rear size you want.

Let me know if you're interested.

Pistonheads have a tyre finder on their website that's quite good on prices.

Guys just been on the website. Can you confirm the sizes above and the model to go for as there are 2 types of proxies:

215/45R17 91W TOYO PROXES T1-R???

Thanks

TOYO PROXES 4 are a relatively new tyre from TOYO, the T1-R has been around for a while so there is lots of feedback/opinions on these.

I have heard a few people talk about the PROXES 4 but dont know anyone who has bit the bullet and actually bought them.

It needs a pioneer to try something unknown rather follow the safe know it will work choice!

Right there is quite a difference in price so i assume te Proxies 4 are inferior.
