Default Tyre tread direction

Need a little advice. Just fitting my winter wheels and I always assumed that tyre had to rotate in a given direction so that tyres on opposite sides of the car were a mirror image of each other. Turns out these winter tyres or even my summer tyres aren't. If you line them up they are the same tyre so turning them around to put on the other side of the car means the tread pattern goes in reverse. Am I ok or are they wrong? They don't have directional arrows on them just outside and inside
Two pictures attached. First one shows winter and summer tyres as they would go on the car and you see the tread pattern differs side to side (not a mirror image) and second picture shows two winter wheels together as if they both went on one side of car which shows they have the same tread pattern

If they were directional then, as you say, they would have an arrow and usually the word 'rotation' on the sidewall. Many many tyres on the market are not directional, so with yours, providing they've been fitted properly with the insides on the inside, you've nothing to worry about

Asymmetric tyres usually have "Outside" written on them somewhere, if that helps at all?
