Default Tyre valve thread

Anyone know what the thread is on a normal car tyre valve? Ie what the thread is on a valve cap?

Any help much appreciated.

If its a DIN 7756

I'm not going to making Lower valve caps

I need to make a pressure test rig to pressure test a new type of gas valve assembly for one of our spray booths products. The pressure required is very low so i was thinking i could use a bicycle hand pump to generate the pressure.

Bicycle valves are the same as car valves and i thought that someone on here would know

Anyone know if DIN7756 is the same as any standard pneumatic fitting thread eg 1/8" BSP, UNF, etc.

If you get the right size of bicycle pump it is totally independant of the thread size.

My bike pump can do presta and schrader on the same pump and they are very different.

There is a rubber collar that clamps on the valve stem and holds it. My bike pump goes to 140 psi and the clamp holds it at that pressure.

So any OD from 5mm up tp about 8mm and pretty much any thread pitch will be OK.

i'd recommend a truck tyre valve; these are generally ~90deg bend and fully metal.

would give far better reliability and durability if the valve is to be used constantly.

I don't actually intend to use the valve itself, just the pump. I need to adapt from the thread that would normally screw on to the tyre valve to a fixed brass fitting, hence the thread request.
