Tyre wear
I run Bridgestones and have got the best part of 12000 miles out of them in just over 10 months. They are now down to 4mm and will probably need changing for the winter as the grip is now less sticky on the harder compound part of the tyre.
I would rate myself as an enthusiastic driver and am impressed with how long they have lasted. You get reports of some people on this board doing only 7k on their sets.
And StevenM gets about 3 miles before he has to change his set. I think we need a new measurement: tyres per gallon.
I'm not quite sure how they manage such wild tyre wear, they must be smokin the wheels at every opportunity.

Tyre wear on the S is nowhere near as bad as I had been led to believe.
I often get the back sliding out a bit into oversteer and the fronts scrub out into understeer. I provoke the tail at every opportunity yet the tyres have lasted me pretty well.
