Right probably know the answer but...

My cars has a fresh set of Avons on the front, not sure which ones but I guess they only make one type in our sizes (205 16").

My rears will need replacing soon, very soon and was just wondering what you guys thought, should I ditch the Avons, only got 1,500 miles on them, and get a complete set of S02s or will they be ok?

I had a set of 4 Avon ZZR3s on my car when I bought it. They are ok tyres, but not as good as the S02s. For a while I had a mix of S02s and ZZR3s and they suited my fast, but not crazy fast, driving style. It would be fine to keep the Avons til they need to be changed. The S02s are better tyres and you'll really appreciate them when you change over.

It all comes down to how wealthy you are, and whether you can be bothered mucking about with Ebay.
