underseal
One of those things I keep thinking I should get around to doing.
A year or so back one of the members on here had his done at an MX5 specialists in that sort of area. sounded like they did a good job, used a good product and weren't silly money.

Mess being the main reason. It sticks everywhere and goes everywhere. I done one side of the s2000 with aerosol sprays and ended up with spray on my face and arms from where the wind blew. Would recommend getting someone to do it. Would be 10x easier to do if you have a ramp.

Yeah muck. I did a few cars when I was younger. Even cleaning the bottom of the car is an arse without ramps etc. and you really want to spray cavity wax inside the chassis members etc. undersell is horrible stuff to use and dinitrol, which seems to be a favourite, stinks to high heaven.
I think I paid around £240 including the gunk which wasnt exactly cheap. It's not worth getting covered in that crap for that sort of money IMO
If you're more of a spanner monkey that's cool but my garage is (still) quite clean and doesn't stink. I have no ramp.

Earthworm Jim hit it on the head, 3M Spray Schutz is the be all and end all of underseal. If going about it yourself it might be worth taking off the rubber wheel arch liner and masking 1mm or so over the edge of the lip before you spray the underseal on. That way the pesky notorious shit wheel arch rust can be prevented
