Default Undersealing

The S has been a bit neglected of late as i've been doing long hours and not had much time. When i was getting the exhaust fixed (nice work mr tyre, £25!) we noticed some surface rust underneath.

Anyone recommend a place to underseal her in the midlands?

This looks good and isnt miles away for example.

Well you lot were about as handy as a foot.

The S goes to these guys tomorrow http://www.jrclassics.co.uk/procedure.html

I've been underneath a few times lately and the beginnings of tin worm are there for all to see (who can get under the car) so hopefully this will put a halt to that. I spent a few quid on some paintwork for the top half earlier in the year so this wraps it up i think. I did have ideas to lower the car and polybush but instead spent the cash on another car.. ahem... so that wont be happening now

i'll try and get some before and after pics

Interested to know how much this is to do, any chance you could PM me with a quote please? And do you think it's worth getting the work done to a younger car, to prevent it happening in the first place?

Thanks

If i recall correctly its about £300 so pretty cheap imo.

A rusty brake pipe sparked the idea for me, it failed the MOT.

Worth doing? If your car is a keeper yes. I imagine a time in a few decades where i still have the S , inspired hy MQs Moo thread

Sorry to hi-jack your post, but does anyone know of somewhere in Suffolk? I've got 2 import motors and never had them undersealed! Although they are garaged alot of the time, and if driven in winter they do get a jet wash underneath.
