Default Variable Intermittent Wipers

I remember reading a while back that there is a mod that can be done using your S2000 control stalks and that of a Civic so that you can have variable intermittent wipers. I thought that seeing as I have a spare set I might do this but I've tried searching the US forums and can't find the thread anywhere. Has anyone else come across it?

It looks like an 01 to 06 Civic stalk but searching our part number only brings up parts for the S2000 however the part number they have for the upgraded one is very similar.

Does the AP1 have that feature on its CAN-bus, though?

I have visions of using an EP/EU-stalk so the rear wash-wipe works too...

According to 'them' the electrics for controlling the wiper pulse are built into the stalk rather than the ECU / CANBUS system so maybe it will work .....

The rear wash wipe / wiper might be an ongoing challenge though ....

OK; seems unlikely, given the extra pins coming out of it.

One of the reasons I got f ucked off with VW was they charge like £230 for switching sh it on via the radio screen and calling it an extra.

I just wonder if you could fool stupid people; buy this switch & your mirrors will fold/warm up.

Actually SEAT were at it with the early Leon Cupras .... some of them had electric mirrors, some had heated and electric mirrors and some had heated, electric AND folding mirrors. It is a royal pain to work out how to swap stuff around.

RainX works nicely if you are that bothered about a clean screen
