Some good, some bad stuff in that article.

First off the only disadvantage of VTEC is the added weight it brings to the valvetrain. VTEC just kicked in y0...VTEC makes you go slower

Whilst the US/EU version of the car had 118bhp/litre, the JDM version had 123.75bhp/litre.

Like many things on a road car, VTEC is a compromise to allow flexibility. Personally, I'd junk it.

 

Wow that's slightly less than than what Ferrari claim. That's really impressive. I need to get me one now lol
