When you do it - can you check and see if your speedo registers a speed or not please.

The speedo does register in reverse will report back

AE, you don't need a quiet road, just one where you're not going to cross over a white line into someone coming the other way.... so how about the M1 (have to leave it until late or you won't have room to get up to speed). I reckon down the slip road backwards and along one or two junctions should get you on the news
