Are we invisible or something?!
You have a point, and I discussed it only yesterday evening with someone at Honda UK
PM me specific details, they are interested in feedback

When I spoke to my honda dealer about this. It was all to do with profit and what cars sell more regualy,
They don't want an s2000 sitting there in the winter for 6 months
it loses them money.
But civics and accords sell very regular.
But I tried to explain if you don't show your product you cant sell it.
He said " spring ,summer fine just not in the winter"
Its all to do with profit.......

Yes, I agree Wampa, I'm well aware the S is never going to sell in its thousands if just one appears in a showroom, but it is now Honda's best model, and manufacturers are always talking about 'halo' products
Be interested how you get on Nick, thinking of trying them for my next service as they're one of my closest dealers now. I'm not sure Chiswick are worth the cross-London drive.
with Wampa (did I just say that!?), dealers will only sell a handful of S's over winter (if any), it doesn't make sense having one sat in the showroom when they will have people coming in to look at Civics and Accords. Even just for liquidity reasons - that's 20-odd grand sitting there unlikely to be untied until early summer and could be spent elsewhere, such as on stock they're likely to sell quickly and therefore get a return on quickly.
I don't agree with the halo effect either, most boring car buyers would be more impressed by a drivers armrest.
