The changes look subtle with the ride height and the plate placement thus not detracting away too much from its original form. Whoever said the S looks boring in its native guise!!
I'm wondering how a meshed grill on the front would look!! Maybe in white or polished ??

Good effort!!
Cheers Hammy

I want to keep it close to OEM so I'm keeping the mods subtle and tasteful so there are only a few little bits left to do. not sure about a front grill... I quite like the OEM one or nothing at all but then there would be nowhere for me to mount the plate without putting holes in the under side of the bumper, which I don't want to do.

The front plate is the only bit that spoils the look in my opinion but the law is the law and I don't like attracting un-needed attention from the police.

Agreed on the plate. I remember reading on here sometime ago about a number plate bracket that attaches to the inset top lip of the spoiler although from memory it looked like two simplistic aluminium/stainless brackets. I cannot find it anywhere now

After collecting some unwanted rubbish and guests (including a bird) in the front bumper recently I'm set on a grill. The colour scheme will be the thing that keeps it subtle looking though - in my humble opinion. The mesh design should also make it easier for mounting the plate. I reckon it looks better where you have placed it.
Hope you have some good wheel cleaner though fella? A small price to pay I reckon!!

The white shouldn't work. My brain is screaming "resist".

But I really like it

Just to be clear - have you lowered it more than it was already lowered?

Not really a fan of the wheels (looks like quite a stretch on the rear, though it's quite hard to tell) but the number plate solution is very elegant, much better than the awfulness of the "windscreen mount" that is becoming more common these days.

Nice photographs. Like the shallow DOF in your S2KUK shot. Have to agree with S2K-Phil about the ‘aerials’. No mistake on your part though I think as you have chosen a shot with giant antennae for your avatar.

I would certainly get excited following that mean-looking 2.5 degrees of camber. Thing is, is your car Ricky friendly?
I didnt think this time around with the aerials as I was in a bit of a rush so only spent about 5 mins shooting a couple very quickly but they can be photoshopped out easily enough

Maybe I need a haircut again? What do you think MQ?

EDIT: Oh and the only way to tell whether it is ricky run friendly is to be at the next one to find out before I have the arches painted

Nope, car is the same height as it was on the OEM's

Do you mean the wheels or the tyres? There is a stretch on the sidewall of the rears at the moment but they will be changed to something more meaty once the tread has worn out. The tyres came on the wheels and the car. There is certainly no stretch on the rear to get them to fit, the arch roll was very minor with no flare needed at all.

Tyres, good to hear you're going to sort that too.

The car will be 'hellafunctional - driven hard, not hard parked'
